This holiday season Charlotte Ballet brings you a Nutcracker like no other! In the spirit of adapting, Artistic Director Hope Muir--along with Christopher Stuart, Charlotte Ballet II Director--has taken this timeless classic and transformed it into an experience perfectly suited and "fairy-tailored" for 2020--all the holiday magic you love in an abbreviated, socially-distanced performance setting! Upon entering the Center for Dance, you will be transported to Christmas Eve at the Stahlbaums' where you'll join Clara's party and watch Drosselmeyer's enchantments unfold before your eyes. From there you'll be whisked away on a journey to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Land of Sweets in a swift and magical retelling of this classic holiday tale. Grab your masks, and join Charlotte Ballet for the socially-distanced party of the season! Please note: only 25 guests allowed per performance. Approximate run time is 40 minutes without intermission, and ticket price includes a surprise takeaway from the Land of Sweets.
