GYROTONIC® Mat Class With Sarah Council MORE INFO - https://www.yorkcountyarts.org/artwellness **The ACYC is offering this class online and in-person** This class will explore the GYROTONIC® Homework Series, an elegant progression that introduces the foundations of The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® method. This is a series that can be done at home using a chair and mat as a daily practice that offers opportunities to create space and decompression in the body while building strength and range of motion. This series is also particularly effective at down regulating the nervous system through utilizing breath and movement patterning to create a calm and resilient mind and body. During the classes participants will practice gentle spinal motions, learn tactile cues to increase awareness and Incorporate simple props (bands, light weights) to deepen their movement and understanding.  REGISTRATION DEADLINE - Monday, January 4, 2021 SKILL LEVEL - Beginner to Intermediate MAX.
