Introduction to Samba no Pe with Adriana Blanco MORE INFO - https://www.yorkcountyarts.org/artwellness **The ACYC is offering this class online and in-person** Adriana is offering an introduction to Samba no Pe, a style of samba that originates from Carnaval culture in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. This class includes an exploration of the African-Brazilian historical origins, fundamental body movement that supports stylistic expression, footwork drilling, and the breakdown of the samba no pe step. This class will include a warm-up with body isolations, a fun and basic sequence, technique and a cool down.  SKILL LEVEL - Beginner to Intermediate MAX.
