Tom Dooley Charity Tea for Puerto Rico Mission '19
You're invited to join the cast of this year's production of The Tom Dooley Project for afternoon tea at The Historic Sharpe House. Join us Sunday March 24, 2019 at one of the three seatings! 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm times for a reception style tea. A buffet of delicious old southern treats served with black loose leaf tea by the staff. While you're here, meet the people involved in the first dramatic nationally known murder mystery...from 1868! The Sharpe House even played a minor role in that history. Talk one on one with the suspects and witnesses and form your own opinion as to who murdered Laura Foster. Decide and vote for a Grand Prize of tickets to both the play and the BBQ dinner! A raffle of assorted gifts and prizes will be set up with drawings during each seating. The Grand Prizes will be drawn for at the end of the day. This event is a fundraiser for the Mission to Puerto Rico from Statesville. Sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, Broad Street UMC, Sharon Lutheran ELCA, Marvin UMC and Bethel UMC all of Statesville. Deadline for Tickets is Friday March 22, at 6pm.
